“The trees, dozens of feet wide, had been polished smooth to their trunks and carved into them were complex glyphs and images and words. It seemed as every inch of the tree was covered, a story extending into the Heavens. The creatures of the woods busy carving destiny.”
The arch over the ceremonial entry point read
“Don’t be shy
The world is a forest, waiting to grow.
Walkabout, spread, and sow
Go forth and multiply.”
The way that the words were written angered the Gods, and in an attempt to end the use of the words as a means to war and pillage, the Gods hurled stones into the Great Star, until it exploded in anger. For 3 days there was no night but that which the smoke brought, for the Sun is never to be struck. Humanity burned for the Sins of God’s trying to teach them a lesson.
