Poem – In the war between Heaven and Hell

In the war between Heaven and Hell

Angels and Demons alike perished

We watched as their fiery bodies fell

God was furious

His mighty barks pierced the mind

He kicked up a great deal of fire and brimstone

The floods Noah spoke of had no parallels in time

God was vengeful

We did not survive to live another day

The warm embrace of summer never came back

The cold shroud of night draped over to stay

Those that made it

The international space station watch the warhead inbound

It struck behind the ship

90 minutes later, it hurtled towards the ground

The Sun forgot us

A mushroom cloud of ejecta stretched into space

When the war between Heaven and Hell was over

Humans were losing the race
